Minneapolis and Portland – Since the death of George Floyd in May, many American cities are seeing large, racial injustice protests. These protests are erupting in cities such as Portland, New York City, Oakland, Atlanta, Minneapolis, and Kenosha, Wisconsin. Despite the majority of these protests being peaceful, the looting and violence associated with them are turning into larger themes in the accompanying news coverage.
