Afia and Erin's Real Talk with Dr. Asim Shah
Today we speak to Dr. Rashid Khalidi, who is the Edward Said Professor of Arab Studies at Columbia University. Dr. Khalidi received his BA from Yale in 1970 and his D.Phil. from Oxford in 1974. He is the co-editor of the Journal of Palestine Studies and former President of the Middle East Studies Association.
Dr. Khalidi was an advisor to the Palestinian delegation to the Madrid and Washington Arab-Israeli peace negotiations from October 1991 until June 1993. Additionally, he has written several books focused on the subject of Palestine, including his most recent work, “The Hundred Years’ War on Palestine.”
