Washington D.C. — President Trump said he would revoke his initial approval of the deal between ByteDance and Oracle if ByteDance, TikTok’s China-based parent company, retains a stake in TikTok Global. This arm of TikTok will control its U.S. operations and run on Oracle’s cloud computing service, as specified under the original agreement.
